Matterport 3D is an all-in-one reality capture. Our camera scans and creates an immersive 3D model of   construction job sites. One photoshoot captures both 2D photos and 3D dimensional data for modeling. We then stitch our measurements together into a complete immersive 3D visualization. From there you can annotate, share and export the point cloud to Autodesk, ReCap® or Revit®. It’s all in one file, replacing thousands of photographs previously needed to document your job site.

Our virtual tour makes it easy to effectively communicate with key stakeholders in the project. You’ll have access to permanent, annotated records at every milestone in the construction process.

Construction Documentation

Matterport gives you the ability to streamline documents of any job site. You’ll have complete dimensional data so you can keep track of project milestones and have immediate access project status from anywhere. This makes it simple to collaborate with your stakeholders.

We also make it easy to package and send the visual documentation to the building owner for long-term facilities management. With our program you can even tag MEP details to show what’s beneath the drywall for maintenance and modifications.

As-builts

A Matterport 3D model will make as-builts easier to manage. Your engineers will be one step ahead with accurate measurements that are easily downloadable into programs like AutoCAD, Autodesk, ReCap® or Revit®.

3D scanning as-builds with Matterport is faster than laser scans. Registration markers at the job site are not needed for a scan. Export to a registered, colored point cloud that is ready for your software.
